Vitamin D with K User Guide: Functional Detox Products

What results can I see from taking vitamin D with K? Vitamin D and its co-factor vitamin K are crucial for many processes in your body, including hormone balance, immunity, bone health, heart health, and more. You can learn more about vitamin D deficiency by clicking here.

How should I take the vitamin D? We recommend taking your vitamin D daily, along with some sort of fat. You need to eat a fat (learn about healthy fats here) at the same time in order to properly absorb your vitamin D. Vitamin K and magnesium are also co-factors that help with absorbtion. Vitamin K is included in our Daily D with K supplement, and you can check out my easy magnesium recommendation at this link.

How much should I take? A good, standard maintenance dosage is 5,000 IU, which is exactly what is in this supplement. If you suspect vitamin D deficiency, you’ll want to take more, but please get tested so you know for sure before you take a higher dosage.

What are possible side effects? This supplement is very safe if taken correctly. There are no common side effects, but you can review our guide of general supplement side effects and solutions here.
