These practitioner-grade supplements are effective! But many people in our community have had a chronic health imbalance for many years. Making a change to your microbiome, even a positive one, can have temporary side effects. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but you do need to know how to manage it, which is usually lowering the dose. I’m going to keep this one short! Here’s my list of top supplements for gut immunity:
1. MegaSporeBiotic
Contains bacillus strains can reduce the frequency and duration of respiratory infections
Reduces LPS endotoxins which stimulate ACE receptors that are targets for COVID
Contains spores, which can survive stomach acid to populate and direct the microbiome
Is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and promotes healthy mucosa growth
Dosage: 1/2 capsule daily low dose, 2 capsules a day typical dose, 4 a day high dose. Take with a protein meal.
2. MegaPrebiotic Fiber
Feeds only friendly bacteria and keystone strains of probiotics
Provides keystone strains prevent chronic disease (1).
Contains kiwi fruit which protects against upper respiratory infections (2)
Dosage: Start with 1/4 dose in water and work up to 1 dose in water sipped throughout the day.
3. Mega IgG 2000
Contains IgG antibodies, which attach to antigens (foreign substances and biological toxins)
Is effective against bacteria and viruses
Prevents leaky gut
Dosage: Ideally, take 4 per day, but this can cause cramping or constipation due changing in bowel patterns so start with 1 a day with a meal and increase slowly, as tolerated.
4. Omega Concentrate

Dysbiosis “promotes and worsens upper airway infections” (3)
Omega Concentrate contains EPA, DPA, and PRM fatty acids compounds, which reduce inflammation

Dosage: Typical dosing is just 2 a day. Consider doubling up for significant bowel inflammation or acute infection.
5. MegaMycobalance
Contains propolis, an immune modulator that decreases Candida overgrowth
Prohibits Candida overgrowth, which compromises immune function (4)
Contains undecylenic acid that prevents Candida from creating biofilms (5)
Fights Candida, and symptoms may include brain fog, sugar cravings, fatigue, and swollen glands
Dosage: Work up to 2 capsules twice a day as tolerated.
