Three Recipes Using Our Electrolytes!

Check out these three super easy and delicious ways to enjoy our tropical flavored Mi Detox Electrolytes!

This smoothie is not only loaded with essential vitamins and minerals, but it’s also hydrating and full of fresh fruit flavors. You’ll be getting a healthy dose of antioxidants and fiber from the mango and strawberry, plus Potassium from the bananas. 

Using coconut milk to blend will increase the anti-inflammatory properties, but any liquid of your choice will work for this smoothie. 

I’ve added a healthy dose of grass fed collagen powder for an added nutrient boost, which you can omit or swap for a vegan alternative. 

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • ½ cup frozen mango

  • ½ cup frozen strawberries

  • ½ banana

  • 1 ½ cups coconut milk

  • 1 scoop Mi Detox Electrolytes powder

  • 1 scoop grass fed collagen powder (or vegan protein powder, if you prefer)

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until well combined, adding more liquid if necessary. Serve cold and enjoy!

Mango Ginger Lemonade

This zesty lemonade recipe is the perfect summertime beverage to share with friends and family. I’ve included instructions on how to make the perfect ginger stevia simple syrup. You’ll have some extra after this recipe, but I’m sure you’ll put it to good use!

Ginger is a great digestive aid, not to mention loaded with antioxidants. Lemons and mango are also rich in antioxidants and fiber. 

Serves 1

Ingredients

For Ginger Simple Syrup

  • 1 Tbsp. ginger, sliced thin

  • ¼ cup stevia (about 8 packets)

  • ½ cup water 

For Lemonade

  • 12 oz. water

  • 1 oz. ginger simple syrup

  • 1 oz. lemon juice

  • ¼ cup fresh or frozen mango chunks

  • 3-4 mint leaves

  • 1 scoop Mi Detox Electrolytes powder

  • Ice

Directions

For ginger simple syrup: 

In a small saucepan set over medium heat, bring water and sugar to a boil. Add ginger and let simmer for several minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before straining out the ginger using.

For lemonade:

In a tall glass, muddle mango, mint leaves, electrolyte powder, and lemon juice. Add simple syrup, water, and ice. Stir and serve!

Tropical Passion Fruit Fizz

This sparkling mocktail just screams summertime! It’s hydrating and loaded with refreshing flavors from the orange juice and fresh passionfruit. 

You’ll get plenty of Vitamin C and fiber from these two delicious ingredients, plus all the hydration you can handle! Fresh passionfruit can be located at most Asian markets, or frozen passionfruit pulp can be found at the grocery store. 

Serves 1 

Calories Per Serving: 45

Ingredients

  • 1 can passion fruit flavored sparkling water

  • 1 passionfruit

  • Juice of ½ lime 

  • Splash of orange juice

  • 1 scoop Mi Detox Electrolytes powder

  • Ice

Directions

Slice the passion fruit in half. Scoop the pulp into a tall glass. Add the lime juice and electrolyte powder. Stir to combine. Then, add the sparkling water and splash of OJ. This mocktail is best served cold, preferably on your patio!
